I agree with annie44. You are a hero for rescuing that little guy(?). How's he doing btw? Are there homes in the area where he could have come from? And great bottle finds also. Were there any names on the bricks?

Great finds Bram. Excellnt fruit jar.

Any time you can save someones friend, no matter who or what it is, it makes you a better person. Not to mention the piece of mind. The dog looks like a Silky Terrier. They are very dependant dogs and it must have been terrifying for it to be traped in that manner for two days. I have unfortunately seen the results of that kind of death for many animals from horses to cats. It is never easy no matter how many times you see it. Good job bud.

I'm not a dog fan but my heart goes out for that little guy!  Bless you and the lady who took him to the vet, I hope someone can find his owners and that he wasn't the victim of a roadside dropoff.

Nice finds...they're turning up in my dreams! Thanks a lot!

Whoa Med Man, that one is COOL. It would look great on someones shelf, next to the cobalt :)

Thanks all for the doggie kudos, but you'd have all done the same thing. Just glad I didn't miss seeing him, it was REALLY close, like I had already passed him, and happened to glance back at the rock wall looking for another digging spot :)

Get out there and dig and enjoy the weather!

Awesome digs, Bram, as usual!  How's the catering business?  I've thought about getting into it.   I'm sure it's hard work!  Thanks for rescuing that dog.  It's good to know there are good people out there.  I'm with Cobaltbot, can I send you my digger to work your magic on?  Thanks for the great stories and pics.
Laur
