And last here are a couple that got away.  Believe me I picked up every neck and shard I could find hoping to match up but no luck YET.

Nice variety of bottles; The cocacola is nice and the puce colored bottle would have been a keeper. Looks like your in a 1900 site. Reminds me of my second dump with that black earth and debris.

Great digs!!! Grab everything, you can clean them and sort them later. make sure all the folks you are working with think you are nuts for keeping them.

Today was really busy but at lunch time I had the hoe operator turn over the soil that was taken out of the excavation yesterday and there were more hidden treasures. I found a really nice 3 piece mold I quess it a  beer bottle.  See pic. Three bromos, 2 hutchs from M B Coolahan in Annapolis, A white cheese container, another amber beer and lots of baking sodas Rumford, Sea Gull and OK.  I wish I could share the site with you all but as you know they get really picky about people being on the site without the required insurances and safety gear.  Kinda takes the fun out of the bottle finding.  Anyway here are some pictures of todays finds.
Till next time
Jerry

Those short PATENT bottles are nice. They used them for the early Johann Hoff products.

I'd like to know what the red bottle is.  I haven't seen many, if any, of those.

Also, is one of those a Dr. Kilmer's?  I can't make out the writing.

I can ID a "Hood's Sarsaparilla", "Scott's Emulsion" and a "Father Johns Medicine".
Along with what looks like a "Warranted Flask".

Right after I read my post I went back and looked back and saw the "Hoods" on the bottle.

Hey everyone I posted earlier today then went to Dover and now I'm back and I'll answer the questions and fill you all in at the same time.  First to Tom: wish I could help you with your bottle, my amber has absolutely nothing on it but I did find another bottle alsmote identical (see pic) only this one is clear both are 61/2" tall and I assume they are liquor bottles.  To GuntherHess thanks for the info on the PATENT bottle.  To RedGinger (intriguing name by the way)  I only wish I had the whole red bottle, I've never come across one like it either.  And even though it's broken it's still a keeper for me.  Woody the amber bottle you thought was a Father Johns is really THE MALTINE MFG CO. NEW YORK bottle any info on it?  And last of all for madman here is a picture of the MEDICAL DEPARTMENT U S N bottle.  I have several in various sizes this one is a 200 cc size.  Thanks everyone for looking and commenting I really appreicate it.
Jerry
