Here's a pic of the repo Queen I noted when we first began this thread...It has the wrong stopper though.
I asked BRIAN about its origins and he said he believed it was made to celebrate the 350th Anniversary of Jamestown,VA...1607-1957.
It is embossed Patented under the fringe and Brown's Celebrated Indian Herb Bitters is on the shield....
No idea what the base monogram represents...

Charlie ,
It is great ... especially when you are going to be gone and can't place a bid. I just recently won that labeled 5 log on ebay with esnipe. My esnipe left me free to go work on my race car ... instead of waiting around for the auction to end .
Try it you'll like it !!! I believe your first few snipes are free when you first join. Brian

Yes, they do have that deal, Brian... But even when they charge, you hardly feel it...

But, Charlie... You've got to promise not to snipe me, especially when I'm tryin' to beat you out of a semi...

Congrats again Charlie ! I know you have been wanting one of those Brown's for awhile now. In my personal opinion the Brown's is one of the best looking figural Bitters out there.
Did you see the clear repro on ebay ? Already over a 100.00 . Dang I used to see those at Shows in the 75.00 range not so many years ago.

BRIAN..I was keeping an eye out on eBay for them, but haven't since I finally got one.
You're correct: they are the best- looking figural bottle...well made...attractive...And all the variations and types would make a great collection in itself.
