Incredible.  Love these bottles.  Blade is lucky to have the only evidence of an light olive color.
I noticed the aqua  one in the museum has a blob top unlike all the tapered tops of the other colors.
I guess the consensus of the ebay one is repo. It loses too much detail zooming up on the bevels to see which shingle it goes into, but it does look to be on the big side.

The Booz on eBay is a Clevenger repro., however, not many were made in aqua, thus it's getting more interest = $$.

Very interesting info about Booz cabins coming out in this thread. Esp Blade's example , heretofore not even known to exist in it's coloration.

Hi,

I have what looks like a knock-off of the aqua one.. Any idea of a way to tell who made it?

all the cabins look cool regardless. if you cant find or afford and original the quality repros still make for great display pieces for the right price.

I just caught these additional posts now Digger don .That had to be one hellava dig and an emotional roller coaster for sure.I found one Booz in my life digging. It was whole and in very good shape.I recently reaquired it at an estate sale.I had that bottle for less then a week when I was 12 years old.I ended up trading for some good bitters bottles.

Good evening. Your Booz bottle is one made for the Dell Company located in Bridgeton, then Millville, between 1942 and 1948. Dell bought the mold from Clevenger Brothers in Clayton when the Clevengers changed to a beveled roof Booz mold. The mold to this bottle is in storage at the Museum of American Glass in Millville.

Find a copy of my Tippecanoe and E. G. Booz Too! book or CD-ROM and you should be able to distinguish most of these bottles from each other. My new book on the Clevengers will show both straight Booz varieties made there. The book is called Last Links to the Past - 20th Century South Jersey Glass. Book 2 will follow in a few years and cover all the Clevenger contemporaries, including Dell.

Christian.

Could we chat about my possibly using the photos of your dug olive Whitney Booz Bottle in my Antique Bottle and Glass Collector column and possibly an update of my Tippecanoe and E. G. Booz Too! book?

You can reach me at tchaunton@comcast.net.

Thank you.
