Way to go Rocky. That $150 dollar milk (if mint) looks like its in $145 condition. The train is really nice too!

Howzit Tony,
Nice finds,  I went to a 1940-1950 dump recently myself right on the outskirts of Pearl Harbor, on the top of the hill is a fenced in Navy base, a long time ago they use to dump there rubbish over the sides down the ravine, with all those 40's and 50's stuff I came across one broken bimal Hawaiian Soda Works Lightning Stopper I thought that was really odd, unfortunately no other bimals where found,  there where a lot of wartime Cokes, TH Cokes and a few mainland Cokes and some ACL and ABM sodas, kept a few bottles, the find of the day was that 47 Pearl Harbor license plate that I told you about, sold it recently to a good friend of mine... aloha Earl

Earl, what did that Pearl Harbor Plate go for? nice find.

KBbottles, thanks for looking. One could just collect oriental meds and you would never run out of styles and variations. The cobalt ones are more desirable as expected but I like them all!

Aloha, Rocky

Tony, had a lot of offers from 20-250, the highest  from Maui, but I ended up selling it for less 200.00 to my  close friend here on Oahu, found out that the license plate is quite rare, they use to mount the plate above the regular Hawaii license plate, without the plate you could not enter into Pearl Harbor, I was thinking of putting it on ebay but decided not to. aloha Earl

Those Chinese bottles were made in an older style until later then our western bottles, they are nice and I have one in my collection too. Do you collect opium pipe chambers and other chinese stuff? If so I would like to see pics someday.

Bob, thanks for checking it out. I always enjoy your dive post and stories.

Luckiest, I have a bunch of oriental bottles that I dug over the years. I would gladly put a few pics together for you. I have mostly dug items so nothing to fancy. I do have a few opium pipes poor condition and misc. items that I can share.

That's pretty impressive Rocky,...125 bucks....I had no idea some of those items were worth that kind of money...That's pretty cool that you'd walked that trail and just now found the bottle!, I always wonder if I'm ever stepping past other good glass when I'm heading into a spot....The oriental characters vertically down the middle look cool with the graduation marks on the edges....Do you ever try to get the characters translated? I like the way that bottle looks. What was in the TM bottle? I see those sometimes from you guys....Did I see one recently that was a citron color? Anyhow nice finds, and keep on keepin' on Tony, Thanks for sharing.

Who says all the good stuff is in the old dumps?
One day I will find the "PEZ Dispenser Dump"!
I'd personally like some Asterix PEZ Dispensers, but they are too pricey for me.

riverdiver, that is a much earlier one. very nice.thanks for sharing!

pyschodoodle, great little goes with you got. what age is that box?

Joe, from what the lady told me, its one of the earlier and harder ones to come by. As far as the oriental meds, My friends wife usually does the translation for me. I'll have to get her to look at it. I'm not sure what the contents of the TM bottles were. The off colors, citron, green amber etc are very hard to come by.
Aloha, Rocky

Not sure on the age - my guess is the teens? Insert has information from George W McFatrich, M.D., Founder, Northers Illinois College of Opthalmology & President of the Murine Eye Remedy Company.  Found this, which was rather interesting... I notice Otology was removed from the name of the school on my insert.

Starts at top of page 607
http://books.google.com/books?id=uic9AAAAYAAJ&pg=PA608&dq=george+w+mcfatrich+md&hl=en&ei=FwZHTMDZCIP78Ab8wMHlBA&sa=X&oi=book_result&ct=result&resnum=3&ved=0CDcQ6AEwAg#v=onepage&q=george%20w%20mcfatrich%20md&f=false

Also found this.. I'd look at this one first, then go to the above post.
