The other one was a pre-prohibition whiskey.  Sorry for the blurry shot.

Thanks for looking Mike.  It's just an ol toc dump.   A good place to sling a little dirt and pick up a few keepers.  You never know what'll turn up in a toc dump.

I had a few hours Saturday morning, so I split the time between two digs.  It was early morning and the camera lens kept fogging up. So hopefully you can get the idea from the photo. This is the "trench" at the dump.  The discard pile behind me is close to 6 feet in some places.

Moving toward the hillside there is always a good four to five feet of dirt on top of the rust layer.

How can the bottles be broken, yet this bud vase is intact except for the base missing?  This glass is thinner than a lamp chimney.

I thought at first that this was a broke top from a food bottle.  But I'm not sure what it is.  Some type of insulator or something?  That little tab is what kept me from tossing it.

Two brown blob beers.  Both were corked.  One had an awful smell when I pushed the cork inside to let the liquid out.

I thought that they were twins, but I noticed an embossing close to the base was different.
