I would take the time to explore and determine as accurately as possible the exact length and beadth of the dump. It can be very deceptive when a dump is over grown- Ive been working a very overgrown woods dump that I dug for months before realizing one day that it was twice as large as I thought. Topographical irregularities had fooled me into into thinking I knew where it began and ended, and of course as it turned out the oldest part where I should have been digging all along, was the least 'dumpy' looking and I went from the 20s to the 90s, 80s,& 70s- 18, that is..

I've been digging in a park on the side of a creek that runs through it in the town I live in and It is only about 50 yards from a old bottle works and is full of peices of old enid, guthrie and kingfisher O.T. bottles my friend who goes by the name of Timmy Jones and has a vast collection of Old bottles O.T.s I.T.s and all kinds of various bottles found it and has found some whole bottles there and a couple hutches I dug there today and found nothin but peices but there has to be some wholes still there, we dug a fare whole about 5 ft and are going to dig bak into the hole and thendig down into the hole and will probly find something.

went to my bottle dump a little, did find a couple more possible keepers, nothing super old but very fun to dig.

so far:

2 d-pat coke bottles, one Detroit, Mi. and one Jonesboro, Ark.
2 BERLEYS soda/milk bottles, one Deroit, Mi. and one Hollywood, Cal.
1 old embossed "THE "A1" SAUCE" bottle -- backmark p in a circle
1 Burma-Shave bottle
1 Barber bottle-- Lucky Tiger for Hair and Scalp (not shown)

and 3 boxes of misc bottles
