Good deal Lisa, dig till you drop then take a breather and dig some more.

Those lightning rods are highly collectable and highly sought after by those who collect them. Blue glass is a good one.
The older out houses should be near the new one. Start there and probe out. Be careful around collapsed structers and beg, borrow or steal a metal detector to use. Most of all have fun.

Get a teenager to help with the camera. The seem to be born with a hightech gen now days.

Hey Lisa...

That is one of the nicest looking thumbs I have ever seen!!! I like the "Thumb" ring too!!!
The gold adds a lot of class to the photo... you should draw a face on it though... but then again, your "Beau" would think that's kinda strange, wouldn't he?

The rock sure is neat looking as well... kinda looks like a vertebrate or some kinda whale bone... are you sure it's a rock?

Glad to see that you have mastered the challenge of the camera... now, for your next "challenge" ... go out and dig up the old house privys!!

Wayne

The rock could be a fossil. Throw " Falls of the Ohio" into google. That's my stomping grounds. I'll try a thumb shot. Maybe a little black dress. Heee Heee. My honey will laugh himself silly. Maybe we can Be Mr. & Mrs. Thumb.

Lisa...

No way... no way...

There is no way that you can both dress up the "Thumb Dude" and "Thumb Dudess" hold them together and take a picture without falling off the couch!!! You won't even be able to hold the camera still...

I gotta see this... You're on!! You're too much... You guys are "killin me"...

Hey Lisa...

Godd morning... did you see the pic I posted of the Gold watch I found last year? I'm sending down to Warren for him to take a look at. He thinks he might be able to replace the movement so I have a "working" piece. Sounds cool.

Can't wait to see the photos from this coming weekend!!

I was trying to figure out how to make fake eyelashes for Mrs. Thumb Dude. and I'm not sure she can wear a white wedding dress. But we won't tell Mr. Thumb Dude.
