Hi PL experts, I dug a an older trash pit at at abandoned 1850's home site. The home burned around 1920's. I dug mostly common items, but toward the bottom I picked thru the mud and pulled these shards out . The london china was in the upper level but in the lower area was this flat blue flow type piece and  red flat pot lid shards. Looks like "Bonaceous King". Any idea of the age? Found a nice teapot, of heavy metal such as brass or copper, and a floral creamer by Taylor, Smith &Taylor  in the upper use layer! Thanks

Hey Rick,

Looks like it's good old saponaceous shaving compound:

From.

The other 2 pieces are non potlid related, in my opinion. Nice copper teapot.

Hi Creekwalker,

Your lid piece is definitely from  Jules Hauel as mentioned above but yours is the purple print and there is also one with black print. They are a large lid around 4 inches across and would date from around 1850-1855.
