Just for the heck of it, I stopped by this dump tonight to see if all the water running down it may have uncovered something I missed.  Well, it did.  This was laying in some leaves below the spot where I quit digging because of the rocks and roots.  Diamond Ink Co. USA 12-1-03  It has a greenish tint to it, a couple nicely placed bubbles, and an olive swirl.  You can see part of it in the bottom of the pic.

Better shot of the streak.  I may have to revisit this spot, and double check my work.

Warren,
That J-Ville Coke didn't sell. If you are still interested, I'll trade it for something, maybe a druggist or med from your area?

That unknown beer is a Born & Co, Columbus. I have extras if you need/want one.

Inside the lid is embossed PAT. Jan 29, 84.

If you a good idea what the item is, you can look it up on the best patent search site I have found. The Library of Congress site is too user unfriendly.
Type in the patent date, the object (in this case, try pot, or pot lid or coffee pot) and it will give you the items that were patented that date, particular to the search you requested. Shouldn't have been too many coffee pots patented on that date.  :>)
Google Patents

Here is your coffee pot.  COFFEE-POT - Google Patents
As you can see, you now have the inventors name, where he lived, etc..
Pretty neat, huh?

Wow, thanks man.  I love new info.  I have had problems finding stuff with the LC patent site.  Do you have the production dates for Born, or know anything about the company?  I've never seen one of their bottles before, and judging by most of the other Columbus breweries, they're not as common?
