Nice photo Karl!

Zane and crew - Wow, you must have found a lot more bottles. It's taking you a long time to split them up.  I thought you would have called or posted by now.

Hey Rick it was like a poker game trying to make our picks. I think we all did alright. Here's a phot of my take. I traded something for two of the bottles I couldn't bare to see them leave the Valley. Can anyone figure out this bottle? "Dr. Drake's German Croup Remedy" Findlay Ohio, "The Glessner Medical Company". One other one we were having trouble finding out about is a Root Beer extract from Pittsburgh Pa.. It's embossed "Galvin's / Root Beer / Pittsburgh Pa."(Front) and "This Package Makes / 5 Gallons / 25 cts." By the way I did pick the " Hunter / Pike's Peak" flask first. A hard Bottle to pass up. I also wound up with a great hutch and a great Beer from Steubenville.

Thanks Cap and Rick.

I haven't even mentioned some of the broken bottles that came out of that hole. Here's a shot of a busted up Congress Water from Saratoga, N.Y.

Here's a photo of a good bottle that I can't find anything out about. It's the Galvin's Root Beer, I mentioned in one of the post on this thread.

Nice haul gents!

I changed your thread title back to its original. You can change it w/ each reply.

Zane - I just tried calling you back. I have a listing for the Dr. Drakes in my old Ohio book. Now you need to work on those crazy large pics. I have a wide - large monitor and I have to scroll a good bit.  Call if you need to, I'll be home thru Friday then I'm diggin' all weekend.

Everything I'm posting came out of this hole. This Hutch is a really scarce one from Steubenville. This ink is strange looking with the flared lip.

A few more and I'm all done. No need to worry. I can't help it though. It's been so long since I've had any decent digs to show off.
Here's one for Spencer and Capsoda to enjoy. It's a Hire's Root Beer.

Ok I lied. I still have a few more to go. Can you blame me? I'm sure it'll be a while before I can do this again.

WOW WOTTA FIND !!!
Great going Guys!!

Best I've ever done was the lower half of a Pikes Peak.
Did dig a perfect Drakes Plantation Bitters once though and a couple of Doyles Hop Bitters.
That has yet to happen again...
But I've paid my dues and figure my "time" is gonna come. Just hope it's sooner than later...

I dont have the Rootbeer extract listed but here are a couple related bottles ...

GALVIN'S RUSSIAN COUGH SYRUP PITTSBURGH, PA.
Galvin's Cough Cure Washington Extract Co. Newark, N.J. US.A.

The Dr. Drake's German Croup Remedy is fairly common.

I have two different Sterling's Ambrosia listed but yours appears to be an earlier variant, is it pontil marked?
