I really don't like it when I become disabled on the site...

How scarce is the Russion Cough Syrup?
Here's a couple of photos of a base emossed "Heinz Bros. & Co." sauce bottle. Notice the crudeness in it's appearance. The one seam is almost a lethal weapon.

I really don't mean to put up these huge photos but I'm working on getting it straightened out.

Ry,
The pleasure was all mine. I had a super time digging with you and George! I hope we can do it again soon. Don't let him use the "Stick" too often though I don't want him to empty it of all it's powers before I can dig with it again. I think that was the secret to our success. The "Flask-Stick" is a broken piece of broom handle we used to dig out all of those goodies. It has become an icon now in our minds.
Thanks again Ryan and George I had a blast!

Its uncommon , except possibly around the Pitts area. last one I saw sell was about 4 years ago for $15 on ebay.

Thanks Rick,
I appreciate the gesture. Take your time there's no hurry. You don't really need to take any photos of unless it's a new one I haven't heard of. See if you can just find out what kind of bottle and what is embossed on it. That's good enough for me. I'm not goin anywhere soon. And Yes, the "Hunter Flask" is also a "For Pikes Peak" on the reverse. I think I posted front and reverse photos. On most Pike's Peaks the Miner is facing left on mine he is facing right.  Did you see the shard of the other Pikes Peak hunter I dug. It's looked to be even more detailed than mine! Now all I have to do is figure out how to clean it. It's so darned thin!

Matt, thanks I appreciate you looking things up for us here and not telling us to just buy your book. You have been quite a bit of help to many of us on the forum. I swear I'm going to be purchasing one very soon. Thanks again...............................Zane

I think it's about time I write something on here! WOW there's a crazy sleet storm here in Philly, we have about 7 inches of sleet and some places there are 2 ft drifts of all sleet, it's like an endless snow cone. Get ready for some diggin vids ya'll.

The best thing to do when you dig into a cluster of a privy is to use a wooden stick with a pointed end to feel around and dig, not a screwdriver! (vid rated PG)

I don't really sound like that in person I swear. Also, please excuse my use of expetives. I wasn't thinking these were going to go public. So if there are any young ears out there I'm going to put a PG13 RATING on the videos taken here. For Adult Language.

That Video did come out pretty good other than distorting my voice!

well I believe all bottle diggers will understand the language issue because diggin is full of extreme exitement or disappointment and emotions always take over you. Here we are pulling out one of the flasks!

Watch this vid as a random guy comes up behind us to enjoy our dig. This is the second privy we found that was under 2 ft of concrete across the street.
http://s99.photobucket.com/albums/l292/christonaraft/?action=view¤t=MOV05450.flv

In this vid another guy appears out of nowhere behind us. We our attempting to pry a 2 ton concrete slap out from the top of the hole so it doesn't fall on us while we're in there. Fortunately the concrete slab fell down but unfortunately it fell right on top of the hole, covering it. We had to fill the hole in hoping that some day we can get a jackhammer in there and blast through it.

We didn't finish untill after dark and we were able to utilize some of the neighboorhood trash to fill up the privy.

Zane, your Post #34 picture of the coffee pot and cup may be Tea Leaf.  This link is informative, if you're interested in learning what you found.  :-)

Yeah it's Tea Leaf for sure. I need a lid for the pot. I was happy to see that come out of the hole too even though it has a hairline. I have it and a matching cup also. It went up on the shelf with my nice transfer ware Teapot.

Does anyone know what this broken glass ball might have been? We dug it in the flask privy.

It looks like a fisherman's net float. Is this a costal area?
