hi I read about a bottle machine made in the california mining journal there
are only five of them left all broken or ? lost.
I can remember some of the article but it was long ago.
I have a bottle it is green 3 3/4 in. long 1 1/4 or 1 1/2 dia. iforgot sorry im 72 and sliping away.
it has a seam to the neck and a verry small seam on the threads.
the bottom has a date 1691 or 1961 depending on which end you look at it.
there is a 0 with a line through it and some letters on each side.
on the out side at the bottom is a 3  and 2 other letters raised.
I cant find the article or aney one to search for it. I forgot which
issue it was in.
aney body have any ideas about a bottle that there are only 5 left?

congrats on making it to 72.
If its a machine made bottle it was mass produced in large quantities by definition.
If only a few of that type exist then its likely they are pre-production versions and not the actual production run bottles. Of course there are some other unlikely situations that can cause a few unique molded examples to exist. Post a photo or article.
