Found this neat crate in a little room in the basement of a condemned building. Did some internet research, and found out the Ruckstell Axle was used on the Ford Model T's until 1927. And the Eaton Axle and Spring Company (currently known as Eaton Corporation) had this name from 1923 - 1932. So I figure that dates the crate between 1923 and 1927. Also read where Ford saved costs by reusing the wood from their parts crates for use in their cars. So I'm guessing there can't be many of these crates that survived. I can't find a mention of one on the internet. It's about 38 inches long, 15 inches high. I haven't cleaned off the dirt on it yet, I'll wait until its warmer outside. Photos of the front (back is the same), and the writing on the sides.....
