Was it a Peanut tree perhaps? That reminds me of that Diamond Bottling Works shard I found a few weeks ago that had a tree root grown up in the neck of it, and may have led to it's bottom being missing. I had a devil of a time getting that root out and in the end just tossed the bottle.

well  the root was 4 ft long so i cut it with my hand saw, youve got to remember ive dug 300 of these things, so i had to post the root  mike
