Welcome to the forum lobsterman, you have a clear cylinder which I think prolly contained a medicine of some sorts. Maybe a food bottle. Looks to be about a 1900 to 1920 bottle, would of had a paper label wrapped around it at one time. Value wise $1 to $5. Feel free to post up any other glass or things you have Pat. I hope this helps you alittle Petty

I've dug those before. I think they held olives or capers.

What does that middle cobalt one say?
I think your best find is that milk.

the blue bottle says " Bromo-Seltzer Emerson Drug Co. Baltimore MD. " and has "50" on the bottom of it.

the milk bottle says " F.H. REED Arlington Heights " has large circled "R" and also Mass seal with an "L" in the middle ( i also thought that the milk bottle was my best find, as it was from my old hometown )

the clear bottle next to the milk, i think is an old vinager bottle as it has a very small opening at the top

the White bottle with the remnants of a cap on it has "Woodbury's" on the bottom and the other white one doesn't have any marks but i saved it because it looks to have been melted and had a neat shrunken and wrinkled finish on it, probably a factory reject.

Thanks for the help as i'm new to old bottles ( if that makes any sense )

Pat.

i had almost forgot about this one, there are no markings on it, i thought it was a neat little decanter though.

PAT...under $20.00 without the label....some are base embossed...and that adds a little more value.

We bought a Syrup bottle today from a flea market and are unable to find in our bottle books information on it. Resembles the shape of the old milk bottle. It is a clear bottle already turning of age with the purple tint. Seven inches tall. Round with a wire ring and wire handle on the top. On the front it is embossed with NEMO, Korn Syrup, New England, Maple Syrup Co., Boston. It also had the number 4 on the bottom of it. We liked the way it spelled "Korn".
Thanx for any help and allowing us to join your net site.
