need info on Illinois bottleing companys - 3/26/2003 4:52:27 PM    Guest I have been given a large quantity of old bottles from a friend who use to live in Ill. he was going to smash them so i " rescued" them from his evil clutches. Most of the bottles are Whistler bottling co. but a lot are from H.E.LLoyd, WilliamRoll. Sanitary bottlers, and some old coke bottles from chicago. I also have 20 that have the wire loop and rubber stopper inside but they have no markings. and h. e. lloyd and a sanitary bottles drying crates. any info is welcomed thanks   Post #: 1

RE: need info on Illinois bottleing companys - 3/26/2003 7:18:31 PM    Guest william roll bottled soda in the city of blue island (cook county) after the turn of the century prob 1920 or after later changed to roll' s beverages prior to william roll was henry roll .these bottles should be abm crown top sodas about 6.5 or 7 oz. clear or aqua. bottom could be marked w.r. or with a trademark s.d.
