When did Falstaff produce beer cans like this one? The top is inscibed with the number 4 and the word aluminum. It has no rust, but the side seam and bottom both do. The bottom has part of a sticker that says St. Clair County, 3 cent beer tax. The top has the Alabama state seal printed on it. Thanks

Whoa there Warren! Is everything okay? Did it snow down there or something? ". . . it sucks" is a strong phrase. How about, "It's not particularly rare"? I think it's a cool can even if it's not worth much.

I WOULD SAY IT WAS MADE FOR THE BICINTENIAL OF 1976,BUT CAP. IS RIGHT ,IT LOOKS EARLIER THEN THAT . I HAD FALSTAFF AS A TEEN IN 68 AND MAN IT AND PABST DID SUCK! COURSE WE WERE UNDER AGED AND HAD TO BUY IT FROM AN OLD GUY THAT SOLD US WHAT HE COULD NOT PAWN ON SOMEBODY ELSE. I ALWAYS HEARD IT WAS "GREEN" BEER.I DON'T KNOW REALLY WHAT THAT WAS OR IS. I ALWAYS THOUGHT OF IT AS BEER GONE BAD,CAUSE MAN IT SURE TASTED LIKE IT! BUT NOW I LIVE ON THE ALA./GA. STATE LINE AND THAT AIN'T THE FALSTAFF CAN I REMEMBER. BACK THEN TWO BEERS AND THE ROOM WOULD SPIN ROUND AND ROUND WHEN I WENT TO BED!

Definitely circa 1976, they made all kinds of Bicentennial beer and soda cans around that time.  Unfortunately no real value....

Well if the taste is what sucks, I say suck down more beer! (I don't think I ever tried Falstaff). Oh by the way, Pabst is making a come back in these parts. Stores are having trouble stocking it because they started using the original formula again and folks here can't get enough of it! Go figure?

I'm sensing some hostility.

Maybe Warren was referring to the taste...??

Yes, It's right around 1976. Out of my 3,000 cans I have that one & a few other Bicentennnial cans similar. Not rare at all. Worth maybe $1.00 at most. LEON.

Okay Warren. Sorry I jumped all over you on that one. I can't speak for the taste but I'll take your word for it. I'm not going to suck it down.
