Good strong embossing. Nice looking jar. The "serifed" S's are a nice touch also.

Need a bit more info, anything on the base? What size is the jar? Any ghosted numbers under the 4? Could be a #2043 or there abouts depending on what is there or not there. If a quart & that # 5-10 bucks

Nice jar.  As far as I can tell it's an unlisted #2048 variant.  That's the only #4 Mason's listed with the open top on the 4.  All the others have the closed top like this "4".  There's not one listed with no apostrophe or serifed S.  The #2048 listed as aqua QT $20-$25.  I'd say you could at least double that it for yours.  I'd pay $40 for it.

Sorry, that shows what happens when you get older and the eyes fail, I didnt see the open 4 and canyadigit is 100% correct. Still would like to see more pics. Nice Jar!!!
