Nice finds. Rockwood, Tenn. Coca-Cola has an early connection to Dixie Coca-Cola of Bristol, va. Jack Tarwater, who was among the first owners of Rockwood, Tenn. Coca-Cola, and James Haggard were the first people to bottle Coca-Cola in Bristol, VA in 1905, and opened a branch plant in Norton, VA in 1907. Carl Mee, another citizen of Rockwood, Tenn., actually managed the plant in 1905-06. They were bought out around 1910 by Carl Jones who would head the company from then on.
