Nice find Shag!  The 7up to look for is the one with the embossed  u 7 p
on the top of the neck. Also the squat amber one's can bring over $100

looks like a great find. not counting the damaged one i see 4 different styles of acls. the carrier is also very nice. i've seen pepsi and coke carriers like that, but never 7up. i believe it dates from the late 40's - 50's.

humabdos      i have not seen an ermbossed 7up of any kind    

bubbas dad      the date sounds about right  the house was bulit in the early 50's    the carrier was under the basement steps and it looked like it had been there a  long time...... a long long time

hey shag, love yer posts, love those canal pix, also your digging in an interesting area, plus yer a long hair me too,  ok the bottles are nice but common,  but the carrier is the find,  hey also loved the pix of the caldwells best of luck mike

Hi Shag here's one that sold on Ebay. Looks like th Pic is gone but as you can see they are worth a few bucks!  These can be found in a 1950's dump.

hey madman whats up           i am definiely a long hair for life    thanks for the kind words      between beeing
antisocial   and dyslexic  (the words are in my head but have a hard time getting them to come out through my hands)    i was afraid i would not fit in around here   but after all great replys from everyone  i feel truely welcome! thank you all!!!!
i hope i find my bottle treasure cheast soon so i can quit boring youall with commons!
digging in the canal is relaxing      no traffic no aholes    no cops lookin down at you in a hole sayin what do you think you are doin down there    just birds frogs deer and nature all around

humabdos      i will keep me eye out for those embossed 7ups  thanks man

This is a embossed 7-up bottle i found in an old car 10 oz dispose of properly ndnr bottom reads 47 1245 l 73 just thought you would like to see it i dont think it is very old if any one knows any info let me know. as for your 7-up bottle with the gril in bathing suit a book i have prices two different bottles one for 2.25 and one 8in 1940s bottle for 10.50 sorry cant get pic to upload ill try agian in the morning

hey madman thanks dude          well here ya go then    it's plain   and prob. common     i have a consumers brewing company blob top beer have seen others  one or two on here i think  apparently after prohibition they went to soda
i dug it up in the canal        afew more sodas came out of that hole  that day but that is a post for another day (or night as it seems to be)

hey there piratemom     would love to see a better pic      take a look at the end of the    digging on a perfect saturday in the digging and finding section    if your having  trouble taking pics  it mite help you out
