I'm looking for info on an old soda bottle.
I think it is quite old, looking for a date maybe??
2 part mold, before 1900, no seam over lip.
Very thick glass, heavy
Rounded on the bottom with "Dublin & Belfast"
It says "make sure that each cork is branded" then below that "Cantrell and Cochrane"
Help anyone!!

Dear Greg,

It seems we have the same bottle! It is the only one I have seen, neat!
Please see my posting

The man I bought it from (at a yard sale Sackville Nova Scotia for $5.00) said he dredged it up scallop fishing.

diggerjeff,
Thanks for the info. Do you have any idea of the value? Not that I would sell it, but the knowing just adds to the excitment for me.
Thanks,
Ann

these are interesting bottles but they dont bring high dollar. 7- 10 dollars max in very good condition. it is a nice novel bottle and a good start to a soda collection.

Hi, I too have the identical bottle. I got it from a friend that was digging for clams in the great south bay on Long Island N.Y. ( unfortunately mine has some scratches on it from the rake).
