Out here in the West, our subspecies is known as the Pipevine Swallowtail. It is basically the same butterfly, but ours' larvae feed on Dutchman's Pipe, a common roadside vine. Status: offline hi everyone,  thanks for looking out my butterfly picture.  i hope you enjoyed it as much as i do.   several years ago i planted a butterfly but my frt. porch to attract butterflys and it works.   it take some patients to get a pict.  they don't stay still very long.   but i love to watch them. thanks for the information.   rhona (in reply to Trying not to break it) Post #: 9
