Sold some Apple C. stock a few months ago. Got to pay off some bills, buy my wife a new oven and buy me this very rare and sought after Hawaii crown.
I had a chance to get a good one last year but didn't have the funds.
Patience is a virtue in this sport!

I love the stock market! thank you wall street!

Thanks mad!
Its the only SCA bottle from my Island so its very sought after and scarce to boot. The glass that they were made with was weak and most examples have what we call fish eyes in the glass. Don't know if you guys call it that. Thats when little round sections pop off.

Congratulations, Rocky. Nice, clean and bubbly. I like early local crowns, too, and some of them can be quite hard to find. I picked up an amber one a few months ago from my town, and it's one of only two that I have ever seen or known of to exist. It's also our only amber bottle of any kind, so I was glad to get it.

Congrats on your stock sale as well. The markets gave me a nice little boost with my precious metals investments earlier this year. I sold a chunk and put a nice down payment on my new Dodge Ram. Capitalism rocks! ~Jim

Hi rockbot;  The mark you call fish eye is really just a round bubble but the name is used quite a bit.  These bubbles can be broken open on the outside, and it is unusual for them to be broken inside the bottle.  Nice bottle you got, and that is for sure.  RED Matthews

Thanks Steve! These crowns were found in only one small district of my Island so finding one today is near impossible. This one came from a long time collector that pasted away. He was a really nice guy and I am proud to own this bottle now.

Interesting thought Red and thank you!
