Is this an early pattern molded diamond pattern pocket flask or just a  repro? Either way it's a great looking piece of glass!! If you know, tell me how you know? Like what characteristics make it the real deal or make it a repro. It has a little bit of wear on the bottom. Also there is an ever so slight sunken circle on one side, like for a label or something?????? You can kinda see it in this pic.

Great looking flask but sorry to say that it is a 20th century reproduction of an 18th/19th century flask..  The "tell" is the overly shortened neck and somewhat distended form...

Aghhh!! and I went and paid 200 pennies for it!!!!! That's all right I like it anyway bacause I would never buy the real deal unless I got lucky pickin' It's not what I collect.
