clear pear-shaped bottle on the bottom it reads reuberto reg. us. pat. off. in circular writting and says brand 4 in the middle-- 2 dots over those words. dimensions are- 4 1/2 in. tall by 2 inches at its widest. Ive looked in 2 books and come close but have yet to make a for sure ID.

Gamezilla...welcome to the Forum.

I believe that reads as Re Umberto Peer Amid Brand...or similar ( don't have one close by to check), but it is an olive oil bottle. Not worth much as it is common and of recent vintage. It can also be found in square tapered machine made cork-stoppered bottles that date from about the 1920s or 30s...they're kind of neat looking clear glass, with long tapered collars that have a slight lip.

thanks for the response, we are getting closer to our target, what the buried wine cellar contains, the 2nd of 2 different bottle dump dates so far were still uncovering much bottles from the 1st dump date(stuff left behind outside the cellar). we are just staring to Id these bottles with much help from this site! thanks
