I over paid a lady about $10 and told her to just send me something instead of the money returned. She sent me this nice poison bottle. I think it was well worth the value. It seems old and crude in its composition. The embossment is a little worn but the bottle is full of bubbles and whittles. No pontil. One on left

Nice window display, Joel. The big, aqua poisons like that were often used for ammonia. There is one similar to yours that is embossed British Household Ammonia. $10 shipped was a pretty good deal. ~Jim

I buy from here quite a bit. She is Bottle Cindy, Pam Hegedus of Susquehanna, PA. She is a moderator at another forum on Yahoo. One I applied to join but I guess something was wrong as I never heard back from them. Oh well, I wouldn't let me join either, knowing me as I do.

I thought the bottle was English as I don't know of many American poisons saying "poisonous".

Thanks for the kind words about the window collection. A bunch of them are getting boxed up and shipped to California to be sold at the bottle Auction.

Joel

I just don't have any more room for bottles. I have taken $50 from every paycheck and bought bottles. I have done this for a year. I also have tons I dug and need tumbling. It is time to get some investment back. I think I did rather well. But when I am looking a several thousand dollars worth of bottles sitting around I get a bit nervous.
