ahhh yes...that time of year again.....

There were seven of us kids....and I remember mom and grandma working for almost a week solid scalding, peeling,,,,washing jars.....cooking and packing jars.... I think they would do like 100 quarts in a season....and how good they were in the winter months.....

Grandma use to make the jelly......apple, peach and grape.....but alas....those times are gone now...home packing is almost a forgotten art form....I still do it from time to time....folks in too much of a hurry to do that now a days....
