So I decided to stop by the excavation site (http://www.antique-bottles.net/forum/anything-interesting-in-this-collection%3F/m-462400/tm.htm)during my lunch break the other day and dug up another small batch of bottles and jar. Do any of these catch your eye?

1. This one says "MASON VACUUM -- Knowlton Patent -- June 9th 1908". No lid, unfortunately
.

2. The next 4 don't say pretty much anything:

3. Finally this one says "Ball -- Perfect Mason"

The Masons Vacuum is a real good find!!!! Red Book # 2134 valued at 175 - 200 in RB #9 the lid is valued at 50 - 65% of the jar though.

Great, but can you explain to a novice like me what "Red Book # 2134" means?

Thanks much

The Red Book is published by Douglas M. Leybourne and is the "bible/ reference" for fruit jar collectors, the number is the reference number used to identify the jar. here is a link to the red book site.

Thanks. So is #2134 the exact jar that I found or a similar jar with similar stamp?

2134 will be the exact same jar, same embossing. Each number stands for a different embossing setup, etc.

Most looks 1930s like before. The lid of the jar might be kicking around in there somewhere. The bottle in pic 3 looks like an olive jar. Keep digging!
