Better pics of seam and neck would help.  My first thought is repro based on the ultra smooth bottom.  I also find it odd how straight it stands upside down on the lip.  Just my thoughts without better pics.

I'm no flask expert, but I don't see any base ware, which tells me its not that old.  But it could have spent its life in a box in the attic.  Most of our poisons, even at 100 years old, don't have base ware.  But typically, the top and the base are 2 big indicators of the bottle's age.  Someone from the flask dept. will have to weigh in on it though. How does the seam flow through the neck and top?

There should be a mold seam across the base , the lip is flared out , not typical of the real thing . Reproduction !

Hi ellisnowens;  I have to agree that the neck doesn't look typical for a scroll flask.  I also have to agree that there should be a mold line across the bottom.  If you look at the heel of the bottle does it look like there is a seam around it.  And how far down do the side seams go to the heel of the bottle.
It looks like a repro by someone trying to cut corners on the method study of making that type of bottle.  But, I realize that I have been wrong before.   RED Matthews

Well  Kent Ohio,  No one said it had a C B on it.  I thought Clevenger's were good about that.  I have several of their marked repros.  Maybe not I guess.  RED Matthews

I just met and talked with a flask expert in February at a local show. I had some extra cash and considered buying a scroll flask from him. He informed me that EVERY KNOWN authentic scroll flask is pontilled. So, to make a long story short; it is a repro.

To me, the tell is the lip.   It flares out to much.   Compare it with the lip of the green one that one poster linked it.  Way different.  Also, the glass just looks heavy and clunky in this one.

I'd be suspicious.

Repro...Flared Lip is a tell tale sign. Here's a nice Clevenger Brothers repro. that I ve had for a while. I picked it up for $20.00 in Maine a few years ago. I recently tried to unload it on ebay for $19.99 but have had no takers. This one is a real beauty so if I have to have one repro mixed in with my originals this is the one I don't mind having.

As I understand it, pre-1966 Clevenger glass is unmarked. After that, some or most of the molds had the CB stamped in them.

Definitely a Clevenger Bros repro...as Kent & others indicated. As far as I know, Clevenger was the only glass company to use this mouth "treatment" on ther flasks. They also used a ruffled mouth as well.
