Status: offline I'm no flask expert, but I don't see any base ware, which tells me its not that old.  But it could have spent its life in a box in the attic.  Most of our poisons, even at 100 years old, don't have base ware.  But typically, the top and the base are 2 big indicators of the bottle's age.  Someone from the flask dept. will have to weigh in on it though. I had some extra cash and considered buying a scroll flask from him. He informed me that EVERY KNOWN authentic scroll flask is pontilled. So, to make a long story short; it is a repro. Here's a nice Clevenger Brothers repro. that I ve had for a while. I picked it up for $20.00 in Maine a few years ago. I recently tried to unload it on ebay for $19.99 but have had no takers.
