shell oil company glass oil bottle - 4/6/2003 12:28:26 PM    Guest ok, i work for an excavation/demolision company in Kentucky. The other day at a job site where we had tore down a building for Marathon/Ashland oil, my uncle was running a dozer and i spotted something a bit shinny. I had him stop for a minute to see what it was. It was a glass motor oil bottle! It was a shell-penn motor oil bottle. Never had i heard of this. we had a gentleman there with us in his 70' s and he said he had never seen one either. We found 6 in very good condition, and three that were broken. What i am wondering is how and where can i find some information on this bottle. If anyone can help me with this search please contact me thru my email. Thank you very much.   Post #: 1

So mine may be a better find! lol and maybe not! Well thank you very much for locating these others for me. At leaset now I have a direction I can look in.
