Here is one for the Poison folks.

Most people are familiar with the Lyons bug poison bottles.
Costar made a fairly well known copycat product.
This is a neat 1858 ad for his product.

Supposedly 4 sizes of bottles??? Has anyone ever seen all 4?

I never knew about the size range of any of the bug and vermin bottles.  It's just not in our scope of collecting.  Bug, jugs and embalming fluids are out of our scope, so we don't study them like the rest of the poison family.  I see the rat bottles quite often, but don't really pay any attention to them.  But it's cool to see this old add.  Always like the old labels and ads of that time period.

its important to specialize in your collecting or you end up chasing everything and needing an aircraft hanger to sore it all in.

I remember this photo. I think I see a couple larger bug bottles.
