hi everyone,  havn't found much lately,  but i am still hikeing and digging.  took a pic or two.  thanks for looking,  rhona      the lysol had a interesting top and teaser

at the top of this hill i found they are building new houses.   i think the main part might be here.  do you think i can tunnel.

did  find a nice blue hires extract at the briar dump.  is this color common?

I've only ever dug or seen around here clear Hire's, never aqua.

Rhona, that hires is not a common color and it is not aqua as someone said. Its a light ice or cornflower blue. Ive seen them but never dug one, hundreds of aqua ones. Ive seen the ones like yours sell for about 20-30 bucks.

hi doug, pd, kevin, gordon and ryan.   thanks so much for looking.  i appreciate the encouragement.  i took a pick of a clear, 2 aqua's, the blue one and a blue bromo cafine for comparison.  ryan,  i only brought that one home that day.  glad to hear it is a good one.   thanks    rhona

Nice find on that cornflower blue Hires. That is one thing that I like about this hobby, is the different variations even in the bottles that are common in some areas.  The hires is not too common here.  I'm getting out and doing a little digging.  Good luck on your next dig.

wow Steve, I've never seen Hires in those two colors, green and blue.  Those gotta be worth a bit.  I'm going to have to start paying attention to Hires now when I see them for sale.

Thanks Tim, I wish I had dug these but like everyone else have dug lots of clear & aqua ones, but not the good colors like Rhona's.  I got the green one in a forum auction here and picked up the blue at the National show.  Rhona, I'm not trying to hijack your post but here's a good old post on Hires:
