hi robert, im no expert but i'd have to say light emerald or apple on the gx111-3 and almost clear maby a slight tint of green too g1-17. jeff or mike could give you a more definate answer.

Nice flasks!  Thanks for sharing the pics.  Here is a color guide using fruit jars.  I am posting the link hoping it can help.   Best of luck.     Paul

I would say light green, and clear with a vaseline tint. But Chris is right, naturally light is best.

Yep, the GXIII-3 is emerald fading toward the middle and the GI-17 is apple. I have seen alot of apple green fruit gars and very few are much darker that your flask.

I see emerald in the bike and citron in the Balt flask. Do you think the color depicted is accurate compared to natural light?

5 or 6 color descriptions on the bike flask. Who's right?  Can't all be. One might have a hard time passing this off as any shade of apple at an auction house. Emerald is out. Green/light green, nope. Dark aqua or light teal probably. The GI-17 light yellow/yellow-green, hard to tell against the towel.
You could debate the color till cows roost in the trees, nobody's wrong, everyone has an opinion, all monitors display subtle color differences. A nice close-up of the base in indirect sunlight would help. The greens have almost as many shades as the ambers.
There'll never in a milllion years be a definitive color chart. There are infinite color variations in every shade of glass. From batch to batch of molten glass, even from bottle to bottle from the same batch.

Lobes.

gx111-3 ,has 3 for emerald ,2 for light green ,and 1 for aqua.i think doug is right with vaseline on the g1-17.i can see why you would be leery about giving anything a definate color lobey. i cant believe someone would take you to court over that .was it one that you sold?ive noticed that the auction houses dont give verry good color discriptions its usualy just verry general like blue or green ,amber eventhough you can see variations .ill bet they do that to protect themselves.

Yeah it was an ebay sale i listed as a   "pontiled, teal umbrella" It really was a nice color. After showing it to one of his friends and convinced otherwise he returned it without notice. My return policy is pretty straight forward and easily comprehensible so i shipped it back to him saying if I see this again I'll keep it and his money. Told him to post a neg. feedback, i'll do the same ans we'll call it even. He posted positively so did I, another satisfied customer.

Much better Bobby, try to get a close up of the bases where the glass is thickest. Looks like a very faint yellow and a darkish aqua to me.
