"General bottlers of the better grace only"  What the?   That's a cool mineral water bottle, the older I get the more I like collecting local mineral/sodas - I really regret now leaving so many of these bottles behind during my 70s/80s bottle snob days (at one point I would only keep sodas if they were blobs/hutches or amber cokes).

Congrats on the spring water, Rhona! That is a nice bottle, I like it when they are full of embossing like that. I have a few local bottles on my want list that always come up broken, too . The good ones are out there. ~Jim

Bottles33, instead of cutting up everyone else's finds, let's see some of yours. Either offer something constructive to the forum, or find somewhere else to play. ~Jim

AMEN, to that Jim. I got supersick of the bottle critics and bottle snobs when I was posting a lot.  I think a lot of people do. Hard to ignore so many posters who seem to have their fun by trying to kill someone else's. Constructive criticism, one thing yes, but just being crappy for the sake of being crappy is another. Ya'll good folk rock on, hope everyone is doing well. Glad you are still digging some awesome bottles, Rhona. That soda is definitely the stuff!!!

Rhona,

Thanx for the welcome - Art Decos are awesome!  Fortunately even in my "snob" days I was smart enough to keep a sharp deco when I came across one, here is local treasure that I found one day years ago while taking my son for a stroller ride, recent clearing of lot had left it high & dry.  "STARBOY" Bottling works, Richmond, Va.:

Hi Rhona,   I really like that Canton Springs. I'm always amazed at how well your finds clean up.  Good Luck on your next dig.

Hey Rhona,
Too bad that ring doesnt have a huge diamond in it. That would be neat. That jug is nice. I always find the tops to those kind of things but never any more then that. Nice finds.

Nice digs Rhona -
I dug one of those little spouted jugs, and my wife uses it to keep olive oil in for cooking ( it was a good clean one like yours:) Happy digging, but stay out of the heat!

hi cindy, ben, E, bram, buster, krystal and kevin,  thanks for looking.  cindy, it is a cool looking little bottle.  ben in this dump there is a ton of broken glass,  ever so often a find a pocket with a few unbroken bottles.  E that starboy is a nice one. buster, barkeeper and determenation,.  krystal, if it had a big diamond in it,  i could retire and dig every day.   kevin, i'm not sure what the ring is made of, but it didn't rust.  take care all,   rhona    ps. ben , i want digging yesterday for a short time, speaking of marbles, i found one,   also a cute little frosted perfume, just under 3" tall.

Rhona,

Have you ever searched for bottles around the old Henryton Sanitarium (west of you somewhere around Riesterstown)?  I did an audit of that place (very creepy) in the late 80's - at that time there were lots of 1915-1930ish sodas/milks around (I didn't keep anything - doh!).  Think I also found a few older things (I recall a turn-mold bottle) on the Patapsco nearby.  Reality is that is has probably all been totally scoured by now like just about everywhere else...

If I'm rambling, it must be the bottle fever = I can't believe that I won't get another shot at digging again for weeks.  When I feel down looking at a purple Pepsi always improves my spirit:
