vaseline glass new and i am confused - 10/27/2010 1:45:43 PM    Dragon0421   Posts: 1000 Joined: 12/11/2007 From: east tn Status: offline Picked this bottle up i just liked the way it look and then i though maybe it was vaseline glass any help would be appriciated. The bottle looks like it was a purfume bottle because of the inside with the grinding like you see on some of the other bottles it has greetings to the new baby with the stork and the baby on the front with some ribbs on the bottom and on the other side it has a design on the back of the bottle and has ribbs on that side to and has a G and something else on the very bottom. I suspect this as 60's maybe. I did notice that it looks like it may have had a ground stopper. If that's the case they may not have made a lot of them. I own 2 of these bottles--purchased at a tag sale 1980, with the stoppers...aren't they amazing?
