recently out scuba diving I found this little gem. I doint think its valuable or anything but would like any help in Identifing it
its show witha AAA battery for sizing, still is water tight and has original contents,,it was found with cork up so I know it did not flood or else it would have been full of water

It might be an insulin bottle. I think I have a whole bag of those in my parents' attic somewhere. When I was little, they tore the barn down across the street/catty-corner... I used to look for 'treasures'... that was one of them! The neighbor's one son was diabetic & that's what the bottles were for.

I have to agree on insulin, was going to say that beofre I saw the above post.

definately vintage, nice old bottle.

dug a bunch of  not-quite-as-old insulin bottles, and a few early hypos last week  on a dig. did not save any, but tempted.

Funny - that's the first bottle I learned to identify... when I was 6 or 7! Didn't learn too much about any others for another 30+ years!
Always had that love of finding stuff, though! I also found reals of home movies in the ruins (damaged). I wonder if those could possibly be in my parents' attic?

thanks guys I plan on keeping more of the bottles I find underwater. Used to be Id pick one up look at it, shrug my shoulders and let it go.
I know thats a terrible thing to say
for the moment I have been keeping the little bottle in water so the plug wont dry out . Would it bo OK to take the bottle out of water? I assume the plug/stopper must be rubber?

Mine were. They'd stick the needle right through it. The bottle's probably never been opened since the day they put the medicine in it.
