what to look for - 9/11/2003 8:42:35 AM    bsbryant   Posts: 3 Joined: 9/9/2003 Status: offline IM LIVING ON GUAM AND I DO ALOT OF HIKING AROUND HERE. AT ONE SPOT I FOLLOW A CREEK BED UP INTO THE HILLS . IT SEEMS THAT ON PARTS OF THIS CREEK THE MILITARY USED THE HILL SIDE AS A DUMP AND IM FINDING ENORMOUS AMOUNTS OF BOTTLES ALONG WITH OTHER OLD THINGS BEING WASHED OUT. THE MAJORITY OF IT IS OLD COKE,PEPSI, WISKEY,AND BEER BOTTLES(DURAGLAS). EVERYTHING SEEMS TO BE FROM ABOUT 1942 AND UP TO 1945. ANY IDEAS ON WHAT TYPES OF BOTTLES I SHOULD KEEP MY EYES ON THE LOOKOUT FOR. I ALWAYS TAKE THE MOST INTERESTING STUFF, BUT I HAVE TO BE SELECTIVE BECAUSE THE HIKE TAKES ABOUT 1-2 HRS IN AND OUT AND THE BOTTLES TEND TO BE A LITTLE HEAVY WHEN MANUVERING IN THE JUNGLE. < Message edited by bsbryant -- 9/11/2003 9:44:43 AM > Post #: 1

I stayed at the Naval station where they have that minature Japanese submarine. I played drums in the Marine band for the 40th anniversary of the US liberating Guam from the Japanese.
