I found a few bottles in my grandmothers barn and just wondered if anyone knew what they are.
Two that I am working on are believed to be whiskey bottles.
The first bottle is brown glass with the seam passing through the lip. Embossed in the glass are four roses and vines. A place for a lable is close to the top.
The second bottle is also brown glass. It has a pirate on the front and two ships on the back.
Both bottles are stamped with the words "FEDERAL LAW FORBIDS SALE OR RE-USE OF THIS BOTTLE"
I have never been a collector of bottles but if anyone can help with info of these, I would be most grateful.
