Here's a funny looking ink(I presume) embossed on the bottom" S.S. STAFFORD. INC. NEW YORK. Can't tell if the piece glass in the middle was added or part of the mold.
It sure is a pretty piece of sun colored glass.I'm guessing this was a press mold??

Fantastic glass study items. Neat glass items.  I am always fascinated in the study of unique items that had to have had specialized mold equipment to create the end result product.  These are neat examples that I haven't had a chance to check out.  RED Matthews

Heres a little diffrent model ,While it seems to have the same top the glass is layed out a little diffrent but same concept.
