I found some more bottles today.

Most were easily ID'ed and dated...........musterol,squibb,kreml.Everything I have found from this site is dating around 1940.

This one seemed older then most I'm finding. It is very heavy green glass.Looks to be a quart bottle.Concave on the bottom. It has a seam thru the lip.

The cross pattern around the bottom and "WP-571" inside are the only things I can use to help identify and I'm having no luck at all.Any ideas?

It's almost like a timeline of a family dump .....the further up the fence row I look I find newer stuff. Is there bottles 60's or 70's that are really worth looking for?A Mogen David 1/2 gallon wine bottle.1961 or at least it has 61 on the bottom. Is the only thing of intrest I bothered to pick up.

This forum has really peaked my intrest in bottle collecting.I have been picking them up for years but never really took alot time to research the date's of use.I'm going to have to go up in my garage where I have most of them stored and see if I might have a nice surprise up there.

Not really at this time. No deposit bottles may may coming into there own.
The kickup on the one you secribed sounds like a wine but makers still use kickup wine bottles.
Are you digging or scraping the top?

Just scratching the top mostly for now.The wine bottle above was completly buried.Fond some more stuff today but still all around 1940's.

I'm going to dig a little deeper but I don't think I'm going to spend to much time here.It looks like a dump site from a single family 1940's-70's
