This hole was full of rocks and iron pontil sodas and beers
I'll post the pics from the hole when I get them
I am wondering what type of flask that is

That flask is a GI-14... T.W Dyott's Flask. Well it would have been.
It was from the Kensington's Glass works.
From good Ole Philly Pa.1826 to around 1830.That would have been a good one!

hey it also could have been GI-90 la fayette / eagle both had the t.w.d. at the bottom of the eagle side and both were from the kennsington glass works do you have a closer picture of the t.w.d area would have loved to see it whole

nice nice nice...  love those coal region sodas. I live down south of Lehighton. was up in Summit Hill a couple weekends ago poking around but didn't really find much. how about giving us a shot of those babies cleaned up???

Yea Buzz there not to hard on the eye I wish they were Summit Hill bottles these are all Tamaqua, Pa.

hey privvydigger, maybe you can help me. the earliest Yuengling brewery bottles to my understanding are iron pontil squats embossed " Eagle Brewing Co. " Have you seen any of these or do you know if this is correct?? any that are embossed with " Pottsville " ? thanx.

Diggin hard in the coal regions and never dug a Yuengling squat.  We see mostly 1890 tooled top crowns...even the blobs have eluded us....but thats ok they can't run far........
