I recently found some goodies at the nearby flea markets and a nice old lady's front yard! First up, a "William Neis Doylestown, Pa" bottle complete with original wire and Hutter top. A blue beauty in the sunlight! This is the yard sale find, she had some old Atlas jars and another Hutter top bottle from Rhode Island, but me likes the P.a. stuff.

The Hutter porcelain stopper is fully intact, with Neis' name and town name glazed on the top, and "PAT'D HUTTER" on the bottom. The wire cleaned up well, and it functions smoothly.

Just closeup of the embossing on front.
Doylestown is the county seat in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Its linked directly to Philadelphia via 611 (or Broad St. of the "bullies" fame.)

Finally, the baby killing wonder, "Winslow's Soothing Syrup". I like the crooked stance of this particular one. The other bottle I first believed to be an ink, but due to its height, I wonder if its a polish bottle. This has come up in other threads, so here is another one. Its got this funny little belly button fold, a cold mold mark, that lends it character as a window bottle. The mark looks like a x or cross at the center of the bottle in the photo.

Love the Soothing Syrup. Looks like a rolled lip? Sure looks crude with it leaning over towards that ink of yours

Thanks kwalker, it is a rolled lip. Maybe it was a hectic day at the glassworks!
