Well here are a few pics. Just started cleaning these jars carefully so far only lost one it was cracked I,m sure there will be more. Leaving the dive site alone for now there is more there on the bottom outside of the car. The jars were all sealed and had a thick almost felt like cheesecloth under each lid all had leakage and I wasn't about to test the the contents. The old kettle was in the caboose to. There is a lot of stuff all over the area around this car. I contacted an old guy who's family used to run shine and he told me that alot of the moonshiners used the cloth with the jar for filtering if any fermentation or disclarity would occur. I had him over to see the jars and he said diffinietly shine and if his grand pappy were alive he could probably tell me where it was going and where it came from.as they used the old rr for transporting. For all you guys who do dive ,,up here there are 4 trestles that cross the river in a 7 mile stretch only one is used currently one is on an emergency side rail and the other two were dismantled ecept for the supports. I have dove every location and it is a divers paradise. There are alot of old artifacts and botles to be had. The currents are very tricky but usually there are some great finds.so if you have an area that has a trestle crossing. Dive in just be careful
