Sorry to say but it’s only worth about $1-$2 unless it’s a yellow color. I actually have a lot of 6 for sale on ebay right now with no bids. Here’s the link to my auction:

This flask is Yellow-not amber. Thanks anyways.
Just wanted to add that it's a shame they're not worth more. Those are nice.
maybe it's the weight. Have you tried one at a time?

Hi diginit, there are varying degrees of yellow. I have a few strapsides that are as yellow as mustard, and are worth around $45-$50. Judging only by the lighting in your pics the bottle appears to be yellow amber, especially in the lip and base view. If this is the case it's value is only a few dollars. Could we get a better look at it, in the sunlight maybe? Below is an example of one I had handy. It needs to be cut and polished (any volunteers) but the color is pure yellow.
Rich.

Colors are an individual thing. I've seen more arguments over the color of a bottle than anything else. Like every collector I have my own idea of color. To me citron would be yellow with a touch of green. But who the hell knows for sure. Someone should start a federation of antique bottles and define things like color and condition once and for all.
Ricky.

Hello everyone,
This has been very informative. I think there should definately be standardized colors
for bottles also. I guess I'll go with yellow amber for this one. A little more yellow than amber though. Beautiful example Lobeycat. I'd like to see that after tumbling. Maybe someone can make a color chart and post it on this site.
Thanks to every one of you.

Yip Golden Amber, Light Amber, Yellow Amber, Amber Waves of Grain, Amber Lynn, etc, etc. There really is no difinitive classification for color or condition, and as for me I'm fed up! I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore. lol.

Way too much time on my hands, Rich.

Here is a quickie shot of a yellow I just finished tumbling for writer Peter B. Samuelson. The citron and the amber stoddard are from my collection, just to show the difference in color...The citron doesnt show the green real well in the pix but its there... Yes they do have a value!!! My estimate would be $35-$40 depending on the individual.... Taz

Taz what do you charge to tumble a 1/2 pint strap? Definetly needs to be cut, it's highly glazed. it may be a bit more yellow than the one you just tumbled. pic posted above. It really is too nice to leave it the way it is.
Rich.

I really like that citron flask! Here a pic on one of my yellow ones and a deep amber ribbed flask. You don’t see to many of theses ribbed ones anymore. Does anyone else have one?
