It's a shame that you can not give someone a compliment without dis-respecting their bottle at the same time.
For a second you made Cookie happy but now he is sad and wrongly thinks that his bottle is not so special after all.

JANET   "Do you like my new "skinny" jeans?

GYPSY   "Wow, Aeropostle!  They're beautiful but they seem a little small on you.  TRANSLATION:  You are a lard-ass.  Go to K-mart and buy some "mom jeans".

While that bottle is certainly a great and interesting one, I think we are all disappointed that there is no embossing. No one is taking away from this bottle's uniqueness; Bob merely made a comment expressing our shared disappointment that the bottle is unembossed. I personally like it, embossing or no embossing.

I like it too.  In fact I have 3 or 4 like it I think, and they are highly prized by me.  I display them with all my boring embossed aqua ones and they steal the show. Nice find, Cookie Monster.

Some one woke up on the wrong side of bottle forum.
I did not get that from his comment at all. When some one says to me,"nice bottle,to bad it was not embossed" I take it as it is,because I know he is 100% right, and not trying to belittle the bottle.
when I dig a nice "un embossed bottle,I say to my self,"chit! to bad it is not embossed" he was just making a natural statement, all of us as bottle diggers/collectors make from time to time.
Cookie that is a cool bottle.I like it a lot,to bad it wasn't embossed.see how natural that looks

I was gonna say "Why shouldn't you be able to see right thru it, it's glass?" but I didn't want to incur Suzanne's wrath Cook....

Since everyone agrees that I am wrong I accept that I am wrong.  Maybe this is a "Men are from Venus - Women are from Mars" moment.
