I got a few nice things yesterday out of a local estate. I have never run across one of these No Deposit No Return Orange Crush before. It's code dated 1967 on the bottom. Anyone know anything about these ? I would think they would be scarce or at least they have been to me.

And these two were on the top shelf out in aold shed. I love the Double Cola but I can't find this slogan listed. It would be from the 40's would be my guess as they went to blue I believe in the 50's. bob

Great finds Bob!

You see, we learn something new every day, in my 20+ years of soda bottle collecting, this is the first I've heard of a No deposit No return Orange Crush bottle. It probably wasn't a success as there are next to none around!

I'll forward this post to Michael Rossman, he's a guy here in Montreal that wrote a book on Orange Crush, we'll see what he says!

Crush ND/NRs aren't dirt common; however, they do show up. I have two of them and need the squatty amber version.

According to Michael Roseman's book the amber crush is valued from $25-$50, however, I think I gave twenty for mine. He lists the clear squat for $20-$30, but I've seen them for a bit less. The clears seem to be more common than the ambers.

I've seen the Missions before, actually I have an early acl one of those from Roanoke, VA. I'm guessing someone wanted to try to give some compition to the Brierlys bottler in the area. It's also a fairly unusual black acl.
