My son dug this little bottle last weekend. I have dug and seen lots of CARTERS INDELIBLE inks but not familiar with this one. This one is embossed SANFORD'S on the shoulder and INDELIBLE around the base. Haven't found a value or listing for it as yet. Any info appreciated, thanks

Hi Warren,

Here's some small inks I dug. "FK" F KIDDER (OP) next "DJ" not sure who made this one (OP) and "CARTER'S/INDELIBLE/INK Guessing all were probably "travel inks" or indelible ink.Still looking for info on the SANFORDS INDELIBLE ink bottle.

Here's my little "ice cube" ink, flint glass, sand pontil ? haven't found info on this one either, guessing Civil War era.

Just thought I would bring up an older post. Just starting to unpack my collection of old bottles that I packed away
several years ago.Just like Christmas in August. Still like tiny bottles as they are interesting and take up less space.
Anyone have more info on these ink bottles?

I've seen the Sanford's sided, embossed on several of the sides (similar to the carters indelible), but not one embossed on shoulder and base. These little indelibles are really fun little inks, but never seem to generate all that much value. If amber of cobalt, maybe $50. The aquas seem to be available for about $30, IME. It may be because they are so small that, to show them off properly, you'd practically need a magnifying glass. Yours is a bit different, which helps a bit.

If you are interested in selling it at some point, pm me. I wouldn't mind adding it to my ink collection.
