I've always loved digging embossed milk bottles and have dug many over the years. Here in Texas it is rare to dig one that is not badly damaged...I've never dug an intact quart and only dug a few intact pints and half pints. Nonetheless, a few weeks ago, I dug a one gill milk bottle embossed "Kobarg Dairy/Phone 2743/Galveston" with "A Bottle of Milk is a Bottle of Health" embossed on the underside of the lip. I've never before dug even a piece of a Kobarg Dairy bottle, nor have I ever dug any one gill milk bottle, so this was quite exciting. Just thought I would share! IMG_4060.jpg

Nice, I don't think I've seen anything from them before. I'd love to find an ACL cafe creamer used by them. I have a few embossed dairies dug in Corpus Christi years ago.

Yeah...strangely in 5 years of digging the area I've never seen a Kobarg Dairy...we mostly dig Star and Model Dairy bottles with a few others mixed in. Of course we don't end up with any ACL's that are in good enough condition to even bring home.
