Udolpho Wolfe's Aromatic Schnapps

Hello Folks, I recently picked up this Udolpho Wolfe's Aromatic Schnapps Bottle. From what I can see there are many different colors and sizes. Some much rarer than others.

Mine is an Amber Brown and is 9 1/2 inches tall and 2 1/2 inches wide. Anyone have any information on this variety, is it a more common or rare variety?

My take on it, limited at best, is that the rarity of a variant has less to do with value than color and crudity. Eye appeal is the driving factor I believe.

Jim is pretty much correct, although your Amber example is more common than many other colors. I have collected these for 35 years and the rarest examples are always the ones with the most crudities and color variations, applied tops with iron or open pontils in green or vivid yellow is the rarest and most valuable variety......Andy
